"Hacking" or "Stealing" Kids' Passwords - The Truth from Software4Parents.com
How can a parent "grab" or "steal" their child's passwords for safety? Find out here!
These days parents are so concerned about what their kids are doing on the Internet, and who they are talking to that many of our customers write to us about how to "hack" or "reveal" their child's Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, Instant Messenger, or other passwords.
The answer to this question is really more simple than you might think: installing spy software. Spy software is software that you download and install on a computer and it secretly records all keystrokes typed into the computer- INCLUDING PASSWORDS.
For example, a parent may wish to know their child's Hotmail password so they can review their email. They would purchase and download a product such as our Spector PRO, which would then remain COMPLETELY secret. No START menu buttons, no icons, NOTHING. The software would then secretly record all keystrokes, INCLUDING THE CHILD'S PASSWORD.
Later, the parent can come back and hit a special hotkey (such as CTRL-ALT-Z-F4) to which the spy software responds, and pops up a password prompt. When the parent enters the software they will be able to see EVERYTHING the child has done, including the passwords they have typed in.
If you'd rather receive recorded information remotely, perhaps to your work computer, you should read about eBlaster. It is from the same reputable makers as Spector PRO, but is for "remote" monitoring.
